"People's Mayor" of Mariupol Faces up to 15 Years in Prison for Terrorism

The press service of the Security Service of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
The criminal proceedings were opened under Part 1 Article 258-3 (forming a terrorist group or terrorist organization) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
"The investigation found that Oleksandr Fomenko together with the armed men, members of the gang, led by a man nicknamed "Chechen", took over the administration building of the Department for Combating Organized Crime of Mariupol Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Donetsk region" - the SSU reports.
The detained was informed about the suspicion of committing a crime for which he faces a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
The suspect was detained by the court decision.
