"Processing of documents at the checkpoint was suspended and the guards organized all-round defense. The shelling killed one soldier and another four received injuries of varying severity," the State Border Guard Service informs.

Besides, the terrorists fired the border guard detachment heading to the checkpoint. Four border guards were injured by the shelling. Three of them were heavily wounded.
