US State Department Fully Supports Ukrainian Government in Fighting the Russian-backed Separatists

Jen Psaki was answering questions about Ukraine of at a daily press briefing on July 7, Censor.NET reports, citing the official website of the US Department of State.

Debating about the number of sides for the option of a cease-fir, spokesperson for the US Department of State clearly stated that there are two sides on fighting, since "the Russian-backed separatists and the Russians are on the same side."

"The people of Ukraine have the right to live in peace and security without Russian-backed separatists attacking their homes and going into buildings. And I think that's where the root cause of this is and we shouldn't forget that fact." Ms. Psaki emphasized.
