Russian and Terrorist Forces Are Close to Controlling the Southern Portion of Luhansk Region - Tymchuk

The situation in the zone of military operations in Donbas remains extremely tense.

According to Censor.NET, this was stated on the Facebook page of Dmytro Tymchuk, head of the Center for Military and Political Studies, citing the operational data of the Information Resistance group.

According to him, as a result of withdrawal of the Ukrainian troops as part of the regrouping, the Russian-terrorist troops took almost complete control of the Southern portion of the Luhansk region, further deploying units to the area of the city of Luhansk and conducting offensive operations in the North of the region.

"At the same time, the enemy has been aiming to take control of the territory from Donetsk to Mariupol in the Donetsk region. The enemy units transfer in the direction of the town of Volnovakha has been tracked," Tymchuk wrote.
