Interpol cancels arrest warrants for most Yanukovych’s accomplices, prosecutor Horbatiuk says
The majority of Ukrainian ex-President Viktor Yanukovych’s henchmen whom the criminal charges were brought against have been removed from the Interpol’s wanted list.
As reported by Censor.NET, this was said by Chief of the Special Investigations Department of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (PGO) Serhii Horbatiuk on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
"Virtually the majority of them have been removed (from the Interpol’s wanted list). I am talking about Kliuiev, Pshonka, Yanukovych, Azarov, Kolobov, Zakharchenko," he said.
Horbatiuk explained that the PGO was denied the opportunity to obtain international arrest warrants for persons charged with commission of crimes during 2014 protests.
"That is, they concluded that the crimes which the officials are charged with were committed during transition of power and, therefore, bear signs of political persecution," he said.

He also said that most ex-officials charged with serious frauds had been put on the international wanted list but "at some point the Interpol authorities made a rather interesting decision when they said that a served notice of suspicion in their mind differed from an indictment and no international arrest warrant could be issued on its basis."
