No Ukrainian soldier killed or injured yesterday, Russian mercenaries committed three attacks, - ATO HQ

The tension along the contact line has somewhat decreased over the past 24-hour period. However, the Russian-occupation forces still failed to fully observe the truce.
Censor.NET reports citing the update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) headquarters press center as of Jan. 15, 2018.
“The enemy employed grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns against defenders of Zaitseve village in Luhansk direction.
“In Donetsk section of the forefront, the militants fired upon the Ukrainian troops deployed near Shyrokyne with 82-mm mortars, machine guns, and small arms. The invaders attacked the Ukrainian Army positions on the outskirts of Kamianka with grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms. No cease-fire violations were recorded in other sections of the frontline.
"The Russian-occupation forces committed three attacks on the Ukrainian troops over the past day. The enemy attacks inflicted no casualties among Ukrainian soldiers," the situation report reads.
The Russian mercenaries reportedly fired upon the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions six times on Jan. 14.
