No fatalities recorded yesterday as Russian mercenaries breached truce twice, one Ukrainian soldier got traumatized, - ATO HQ

Censor.NET reports citing the update by the ATO headquarters press center as of Jan. 18, 2018.
"Despite mutual adherence to the cease-fire deal in the daytime, the Russian-occupation troops insidiously shelled the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions with weapons banned by the Minsk agreements after dusk.
“The enemy bombarded strongpoints near Shchastia in Luhansk direction with 82-mm mortars. 120-mm mortars were also employed against Ukrainian troops deployed near Luhanske village.
"The enemy violated truce twice totally over the past 24-hour period. The Ukrainian soldiers did not retaliate both of the attacks.
“No Ukrainian serviceman was killed or injured in action. However, one ATO soldier received combat trauma while carrying out engineer task in Donetsk section of the forefront. He was promptly taken to a military hospital and provided with necessary medical care. The life of the Ukrainian soldier is no longer in danger. Military doctors say his health condition is satisfactory," the situation report reads.
Earlier, the Russian mercenaries attacked Ukrainian troops seven times on Jan. 17.
