Squad commander of the machine-gun platoon Oleksandr Chopenko was gunned down by an enemy sniper in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone on Jan. 17.
As reported by Censor.NET, squad commander of the machine-gun platoon Oleksandr Chopenko, born in 1969, was shot dead by an enemy sniper in the Donetsk region on Jan. 17. He was a resident of Saivka village situated in the Pyatikhatky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
The deceased was survived by four daughters and a son who served in the same detachment.
