The Russian-occupation troops continued committing armed provocations yesterday by firing upon the Ukrainian defenses including with weapons that should have long been withdrawn under cease-fire deal.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) headquarters press center as of Jan. 24, 2018.

“Using small arms, the enemy invited retaliation of the Ukrainian defenders deployed near Stanytsia Luhanska and Kriakivka villages in Luhansk section of the frontline.

“In Donetsk direction, the enemy bombarded the outskirts of Lebedynske village in the littoral area of the Sea of Azov with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars. Ukrainian servicemen opened no fire in response strictly observing Minsk agreements.

"Three cease-fire violations were recorded over the past 24-hour period. A soldier of Ukraine’s Armed Forces received injuries in one of these attacks. He was promptly taken to a military hospital and provided with medical treatment," the situation report reads.
