"Russian-occupation troops brazenly violated the Minsk peace accords by using mortars of various calibers. The militants bombarded the Ukrainian soldiers deployed in the vicinity of Shyrokyne village in Donetsk direction with 120-mm mortars. The enemy also shelled the outskirts of Pisky and Vodiane villages with 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers.

"A total of four attacks by the illegal armed groups were recorded over the past 24-hour period. A soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was traumatized in action in the littoral region of the Sea of Azov. He was promptly taken to a military hospital and received necessary treatment," the situation report reads.

As reported, the Russian mercenaries fired upon the Ukrainian troops 17 times on Feb. 7.
