Ukrainian Army reports no battle casualties in past day in nine attacks by Russian proxies, - ATO HQ

The Russian-backed militants continued using mortars of various calibers against Ukrainian troops in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone over the past 24-period in blatant violation of the Minsk accords.

Censor.NET reports citing the latest update by the ATO headquarters press center as of Feb. 11, 2018.

"The enemy committed attacks using IFV-mounted weapons, grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns and small arms in the vicinity of Zaitseve village in Luhansk section of the forefront.

"In Donetsk direction, the invaders focused attacks in the littoral area of the Sea of Azov: the outskirts of Talakivka were bombarded with 120-mm and 82-mm mortars. The militants also used IFV weapons there along with mortars. The enemy as well shelled Ukrainian troops deployed near Vodiane and Shyrokyne with mortars of various calibers. The illegal armed groups violated the truce in the suburbs of Avdiivka with large-caliber machine guns and small arms.

"The enemy committed nine deliberate attacks on the Armed Forces of Ukraine all along the contact line over the past day inflicting no battle casualties among the ATO forces," the situation report reads.

Earlier, the Russian mercenaries fired upon the Ukrainian troops in the Donbas eight times on Feb. 10.
