One Ukrainian soldier killed, one traumatized in 10 militants’ attacks over past day, - ATO HQ

Yesterday, the combined Russian and terrorist forces extensively used large-caliber artillery systems and heavy mortars banned by the Minsk agreements against Ukrainian troops in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone.

"In Luhansk direction, the enemy repeatedly fired upon the ATO forces near Luhanske village with 82-mm mortars, large-caliber machine guns and IFV-mounted weapons.
"In Donetsk direction, the greatest number of attacks was recorded in the littoral area of the Sea of Azov. The invaders employed 122-mm artillery, 120-mm mortars, grenade launchers, small arms and IFV weapons against the Ukrainian troops deployed on the outskirts of Vodiane village. The militants bombarded our strong points near Pavlopil, Chermalyk, and Shyrokyne with mortars of various calibers. The Russian mercenaries also shelled the ATO forces’ defenses in the vicinity of Taramchuk and Butivka mine with 82-mm mortars and grenade launchers.
"A total of 10 deliberate attacks on Ukrainian troops were recorded over the past 24-hour period. Unfortunately, a Ukrainian soldier was killed and another defender was traumatized in action. We offer our sincere condolences to the relatives and friends of the soldier who gave up his life for Ukraine’s peaceful future," the situation report reads.
As reported, the Russian mercenaries fired upon the ATO forces 14 times on Feb. 14.
