Schoolboy, his father killed in artillery strike on Troitske village, his injured mother taken to hospital
Two civilians including a schoolboy were killed as the Russian-backed militants bombarded Troitske village last night.
"A seventh-grader of Myronivske-based school and his father were killed last night as a result of the shelling of Troitske village located next to Myronivske. His mother was taken to a hospital in grave condition," Deputy Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Ihor Stokoz wrote on social media, Censor.NET reports.
The official later added that the family came to the summer house it owned in Troitske. Their other son was wounded in the leg.
Zhebrivskyi also disclosed details of the tragedy: "The family lives in Myronivske but they came to their summer house in Troitske. When the shelling began at night, everyone went down to the basement and spent a long time there. When they thought they were safe, they left the basement. But then the last projectile exploded. It was its shrapnel that caused so much trouble."
