An explosion occurred on the eighth floor of a nine-storey apartment block in Kryvyi Rih which resulted in three persons injured including a child.
As reported by Censor.NET citing the statement by the press office of the State Emergency Service, the explosion happened on the eighth floor of a nine-storey apartment block on 3, Charivna Str. in Kryvyi Rih at 9:22 p.m. July 16. Three victims of the blast including a child were hospitalized.
It is noted that the explosion demolished partition walls in two apartments and damaged partitions in another five ones. The elements of the building’s load-bearing construction at the 8th floor were also damaged forcing the local authorities to resettle four residents of the house.
The cause of the explosion is still unknown.
