"The chairperson of one of the district courts of the Odesa region who received $6,000 by fraudulent means was detained while having a lunch," spokesperson for the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Larysa Sarhan wrote on social media, Censor.NET reports.
"The judge received unlawful benefit from one of the parties to a civil action for alleged facilitation of a court ruling made in favor of this party by a judge of another court.
"The court chairperson was today officially served with charge papers signed by the deputy prosecutor general," she said.
