Poroshenko welcomes religious communities conversion law: "No more questions about patriarchy"

Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko has welcomed the religious communities conversion law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada today.
Censor.NET reports citing the president’s Twitter.
"I welcome the adoption by the Verkhovna Rada of an extremely important draft law on amending certain laws on the subordination of religious organizations and procedures for state registration of religious organizations with the status of legal entities. The law establishes the mechanism for conversion of parishes into the Orthodox Church in Ukraine. From now on, Ukrainians will not ask questions about patriarchy. The Tomos of autocephaly stipulates only one Ukrainian church," said Poroshenko.
