Russia opposed introduction of peacekeeping force in Donbas in the UN
The Russian Federation considers that the proposal to introduce peacekeeping force to the Donbas questions the intention of the Ukrainian government to observe Minsk agreements.
Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin declared, Censor.NET reports citing RIA Novosti.
"The Minsk agreements were reached Feb. 12. The Donetsk and Luhansk Republics will create their own militia according to these agreements. The OSCE will monitor the demarcation line area. If some other arrangements are immediately put forward, the question arises whether the Minsk agreements are going to be performed," Russia's permanent representative to the UN said.
Earlier, Ukraine decided to allow foreign troops on its territory to participate in the exercise after the NSDC meeting.
