Militants repeatedly shelled Ukrainian troops’ positions from 120-mm mortars today blatantly violating Minsk agreements - ATO headquarters
The situation in the zone of the anti-terrorist operation remained tense April 10 from midnight to 6 p.m. The enemy does not cease conducting armed provocations. It has committed 18 attacks on Ukrainian troops’ positions along the demarcation line. The assaults were conducted mostly from mortars.

The militants used small arms, automatic grenade launchers and mortars near the villages of Pisky, Opytne, Hranytne, Maiorsk, and Shyrokyne in the Donetsk region. The attack from the weapon of an infantry fighting vehicle was recorded near the village of Berezove.
"The terrorists used 120-mm mortars in the vicinity of Maiorsk and Hranytne villages five times grossly violating Minsk cease-fire deal. In addition, the militants were committing strikes from 120-mm mortar over civilians in the village of Pisky from 12.20 to 12.25 p.m.," the statement reads.
In the Luhansk region, the Russian-terrorist troops shelled the Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions near the village of Krymske from small arms, mortars, infantry fighting vehicle's weapon and anti-aircraft gun in the first half of the day. There was a combat encounter in the evening there. "The Ukrainian servicemen have given a fitting rebuff to the enemy and forced the attackers to retreat," the ATO press center noted.
The Ukrainian military have recorded three reconnaissance flights of the hostile drones today. One of these UAVs was destroyed at 10:58 a.m. in the Luhansk region.
