NATO will increase support for reforms in Ukraine through trust funds and consulting assistance - Stoltenberg
Increasing NATO's support for reforms in Ukraine will be one of the main issues during the session of Ukraine - NATO Commission during the meeting of foreign ministers of the Alliance member countries in Antalya (Turkey).
This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, opening a meeting of the Commission, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
He noted that successful implementation of the reforms will be key to the success of Ukraine as a whole, which is why NATO will increase its support for reforms through trust funds and consulting assistance.
Adoption of statements in support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and a briefing of Jens Stoltenberg are scheduled following the meeting.
A bilateral meeting of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin with NATO Secretary General took place before the Commission's meeting, according to Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's post on Twitter. The results of this meeting are unknown.
