The international coalition for the transfer of tanks to Ukraine, in particular Leopard 2, actually already exists, and Germany should join it.
This was stated in the air of radio Plus said the Head of the Office of the President of Poland Pawel Szrot, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to Ukrinform.
"The coalition of allied countries, within which these measures should be implemented, is actually already functioning. Participation in this coalition was declared, for example, by Finland, Denmark, as well as the United Kingdom, which, of course, has not Leopard, but tanks of its own design Challenger. Therefore, we can talk about a broad coalition, and German politicians should take this into account," Szrot emphasized.
He added that if Germans rationally assess how NATO should take care of its security and how actively it should support Ukraine in defending its territory and the whole of Europe, they "should make a positive decision".
In turn, the spokesman for the Polish government Piotr Mueller during a briefing for the media in the Sejm said that Warsaw is forming "the broadest possible coalition" and expects Germany to join it.
