Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in areas of 10 settlements in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, - General Staff
Yesterday, the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of 9 settlements in the Donetsk region and 1 - in the Luhansk region.

Thus, the three hundred and thirty-seventh day of the Russian large-scale invasion began.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 37 air strikes and 10 missile strikes, in particular, on the civilian infrastructure of the cities of Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia. It carried out 97 attacks from rocket salvo systems, residential buildings in Kherson were also hit. According to preliminary information, at night the enemy used 24 Iranian Shahed-136 strike drones. All of them were destroyed by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
There is a great danger of further Russian air and missile attacks on the entire territory of Ukraine.
Suffering numerous losses, the enemy does not stop offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Novopavliv directions. He conducted unsuccessful offensives in the Lyman and Avdiivka directions. In Kupiansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson directions, it is being defended.
The defense forces repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Chervopopivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Blahodatne, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Mariinka, Vuhledar, and Pavlivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Volyn, Polissia, Siversk, and Slobozhansk directions, the situation has not changed significantly, and no offensive groups of the enemy have been detected.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Leonivka, Yasna Poliana, and Mykhalchyna Sloboda in the Chernihiv region, and Budivelne, Volfyne, and Tymofiivka in the Sumy region.
In the Slobozhansk direction, twenty settlements were hit by shelling. Among them are Budarky, Vovchanski Khutory, Lyptsi, Vovchansk, Krasne, and Neskuchne of the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kotliarivka, and Tabaiivka in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk region were affected by the fire.
In the Lymansky direction, the enemy shelled the positions of our troops in the areas of the settlements of Makiivka, Ploshanka, Chervopopivka, and Nevske in the Luhansk region, and in the Veryhinske Forestry, and Yampolivka in Donetsk region.
In the direction of Bakhmut, twenty-two settlements were damaged by fire, in particular, Ivanivske, Krasnopolivka, Spirne, Bakhmut, Ozarianivka, New York, Klishchiivka and Kurdiumivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Berdychi, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Mariinka, and Novomykhailivka came under enemy fire.
In the direction of Novopavlivka, the enemy shelled Boghoiavlenka, Prechystivka, and Zolota Nyva in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the areas of twenty-five settlements were affected by tank and artillery fire, including Vremivka, Vilne Pole, Novopil of the Donetsk region, and Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, and Orihiv in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the occupiers continue to shell peaceful towns and villages. Twenty settlements were affected, in particular, Beryslav, Antonivka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Bilozerka, Novokairy, Republikanets, and Kherson. There are victims among the civilian population.
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the enemy is conducting preparatory measures for the next wave of mobilization. So, by January 29 of the current year, all so-called state and private institutions must submit lists of persons for the reservation to military commissariats. The next mass mobilization wave is planned for the end of February. At the same time, from February 1 of this year, all repair and construction work at budget enterprises and institutions will be stopped, and all planned funds will be redirected to support armed aggression against Ukraine.
During the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces made 14 strikes on enemy concentration areas and 2 strikes on the positions of its anti-aircraft missile systems.
In addition, 2 enemies Su-25 aircraft, a Ka-52 helicopter, 4 Orlan-10 type UAVs, and one Supercam type were destroyed.
Units of missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine hit 1 control post, 12 manpower concentration areas, and 4 ammunition warehouses of the Russian occupiers during the day.
