As reported by Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform, this was reported by the deputy head of the SAPO Andriy Sinyuk.
"Yes, information was entered into the EDPR," he said, answering a question about whether the Prosecutor General agreed to the relevant request of the SAP regarding Halimon.
Synyuk added that the investigation into the possible illegal enrichment of a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada began on January 26 of this year.
It will be recalled that earlier the deputy head of the parliamentary faction "Servant of the People", 39-year-old Pavlo Halimon, was at the center of a loud scandal. Journalists found out that during the full-scale war, the people's deputy bought an estate on the Pechersk hills in the center of the capital. At the same time, the house cost is significantly below its market value.
The head of the "SN" faction, Davyd Arahmiya, said that Halimon will be dismissed from the post of deputy head of the faction.
At the same time, the head of the "Servant of the People" party, Olena Shulyak, accepted Halimon's resignation from the position of head of the Chernihiv regional organization of the "Servant of the People" party.
The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office appealed to the general prosecutor regarding the violation of criminal proceedings against Halimon on the fact of illegal enrichment.
