China did not supply weapons to Russia, but did not remove issue from discussion - White House

This was stated by the representative of the National Security Council of the White House, John Kirby, Censor.NET informs with reference to LIGA.
Kirby noted that China and Russia maintain relations. "As can be seen from public comments, this relationship continues and will be maintained. I cannot say why the Chinese think that this is in their interests. At least, we are convinced of the opposite," said a representative of the White House.
To the question about the possible supply of weapons to China to Russia, Kirby answered that Beijing has not yet made a final decision on this matter, but they have not stopped discussing such a possibility.
"China did not remove the issue from the discussion, but it did not do anything either. Therefore, I do not want to think about the possible consequences," said a representative of the administration of the US president.
He said the White House had privately told the Chinese that it did not believe such a move was in their best interests. "It cannot be that it is in China's interest to side with Putin when he is killing the Ukrainian people," Kirby emphasized.
