There will be no more Russian projects on Ukrainian territory, - Danilov
The return of the occupied territories should not mean any preferences or privileges with regard to the Russian language, because, as practice shows, this does not lead to anything good.
Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, said this in the telethon "United News", reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to Ukrinform.
"In our country, everyone has equal rights and opportunities, and there is no need to apply different rules in other territories. We have already passed the point where we said, 'let them speak Russian'. We cannot trade principles, because it costs us a lot later. We are giving our lives for not dotting the I's and crossing the T's since 1991. The enemy always uses weak positions," he said.
Danilov noted that if any enclaves are created on the territory of the country, the state must urgently react to this as harshly as possible.
"There will be no more Russian projects on the territory of our country, we are paying too much for turning a blind eye," he said.
The National Security and Defense Council chief added that it is possible to communicate in any language, but education in schools and universities where the state is present should be conducted exclusively in the state language, and another language may be used in everyday life.
