Pentagon announces new military aid package for Ukraine: ammunition and armored personnel carrier bridges
The U.S. Department of Defense has announced the contents of a new military aid package for Ukraine, which was released today.
This is stated by Censor.NЕТ with reference to Radio Svoboda.
According to the Pentagon, the 33rd withdrawal of equipment from the US Department of Defense's stockpile, estimated at $400 million, includes, in particular:
- additional ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS);
- additional artillery shells of 155 mm caliber;
- additional artillery shells of 105 mm caliber;
- additional ammunition of 25 mm caliber;
- armored personnel carrier bridges;
- explosive ammunition and equipment for clearing obstacles;
- test and diagnostic equipment for vehicle maintenance and repair;
- spare parts and other field equipment.
On March 3, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced another $400 million package of military aid to Ukraine.
