Biden and Leyen’s statement: US and EU will together support Ukraine as long as necessary

US President Joe Biden and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen in a joint statement following the meeting confirmed their unity in solidarity with Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
This is stated in a statement published on the website of the European Commission, Censor.NET reports.
A separate section of the document entitled "Coming together to end Russia's war against Ukraine" is dedicated to Russia's war against Ukraine.
"The United States and the European Union are working to ensure that Ukraine has the security, economic and humanitarian assistance it needs for as long as it is needed. We are working together to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with military equipment and provide them with the necessary training to defend against Russian aggression," the statement said.
The parties recalled that the USA and the EU together ensure the conditions under which aid to Ukraine is provided on a broad basis, and pressure the Russian Federation with the help of sanctions while reducing Europe's dependence on Russian fuel.
Also, Washington and Brussels will work to ensure that Ukraine has the security, economic and humanitarian support it needs, "for as long as it takes." It is also about providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the military equipment and training necessary to defend against Russian aggression.
