Troops of Russian Federation actively use armored vehicles in Lyman-Kupiansk direction, - Cherevaty
The Russian military is actively using armored vehicles in the Lymansk-Kupyansk direction. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders manage to effectively destroy enemy weapons.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhii Cherevaty on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET informs with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
According to him, the Russians are most active in the Bakhmut and Lyman-Kupiansk directions.
"During this day in the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy fired 197 rounds with various types of artillery and MLRS, attacked our positions 35 times. In particular, in the Bakhmut region alone, he fired 73 rounds and attempted to attack 25 times. This is the northern part of Bakhmut, Orikhove, Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka," Cherevaty said.
In these battles, the Russians lost 96 occupiers killed, another 153 were wounded of varying degrees of severity.
In addition, the Lymansko-Kupyansk direction has been the record holder for artillery shelling by the Russians for the past few weeks. So, during that day, the occupiers fired 442 shots, and 11 skirmishes took place.
The invaders actively use armored vehicles in this direction. During this day, the Ukrainian military destroyed one enemy APC and two tractors, destroyed 3 mortars and 2 warehouses with ammunition.
