An action plan regarding the reform of passing military medical commissions was determined at a meeting with government officials, parliamentarians, and representatives of the President’s Office.

This was reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on the Telegram channel, Censor.NET informs.

"We aim to digitize all processes as much as possible and create conditions under which the military will receive comfortable and fast service," he clarified.

According to Shmyhal, the expert group presented its findings. Among them: an increase in the throughput capacity of the MMC, access to the e-health care system, and barrier-free measures.

"Already in April, we plan to start a pilot project to deploy an electronic document management system in the army, TCC, and other relevant structures. The next stage is the digitization of the medical history of military personnel," the prime minister added.

As noted, the issue of shortening the investigation period for obtaining a certificate from the police about the circumstances of the injury was separately considered.

"I gave the task to develop the necessary regulations and changes to the laws. We listened to the proposals of the Ministry of Health and regarding the reform of the medical and social expert commissions. This should be a comprehensive decision based on international standards, where the person is the main priority," Shmyhal summarizes.
