"There is nothing new in Kremlin’s nuclear rhetoric" - Dutch Prime Minister Rutte

In the Netherlands, Putin’s statements about the deployment of nuclear weapons in Belarus were called irresponsible, but they also did not see anything new in them.
This was announced at a press conference in Rotterdam by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, reports Censor.NЕТ.
"Russia's nuclear rhetoric is not something new, we have been hearing it since April last year... A lot of talk, a lot of rhetoric. But Russia knows that the consequences of using nuclear weapons would be catastrophic," Rutte said.
He called Putin's statements about the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus "irresponsible and dangerous".
Rutte assured that NATO partners are closely monitoring the situation. And Putin's words will not shake them in helping Ukraine.
He mentioned the abduction of Ukrainian children. "The Netherlands, Germany and international UN agencies are working to investigate this crime."
But in general, the Prime Minister noted, the task is to bring to justice all those responsible for waging war against Ukraine. An International Center for the Prosecution of the Crime of Aggression has been established in The Hague, and work is underway to create a special tribunal, the Prime Minister said.
To remind, Putin recently said that Russia would deploy its tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.
