Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 43 enemy attacks in Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka areas, - General Staff
Russian troops continue to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions. The fiercest battles continue for Bakhmut and Mariinka.

Last day, the enemy launched 6 missiles and 62 air strikes, launched 70 attacks from rocket salvo systems.
The probability of launching missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
The main efforts of the enemy continue to focus on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka areas. Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled 43 enemy attacks on the specified areas of the front during the past day. The fiercest battles continue for Bakhmut and Mariinka.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups.
The enemy maintains a military presence in the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions in the Bryansk, Kursk, and Belhorod regions bordering Ukraine. During the past 24 hours, it shelled the settlements of Kliusy, Hremiach, Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Kucherivka, Shalyhine, Stukalyvka, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, Mohrytsia, Popivka in the Sumy region, as well as Okip, Mali Prohody, Strilecha, Neskuchne, Hatyshche, Budarky, and Chuhunivka in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy continues measures to fortify positions in separate areas. The settlements of Topoli, Kamianka, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kindrashivka, Masiutivka, Kyslivka of the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske, the Luhansk region, were hit by enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Lyman direction. Makiivka, Nevske, Dibrova, Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region, and Torske, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, and Pereizne of the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions. Heavy fighting continues for the city of Bakhmut. In addition, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of the settlements of Novomarkove and Khromove. Vasiukivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Hryhorivka, Khromove, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Stupochky, Pivnichne, and New York of the Donetsk region were affected by enemy shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions near the settlements of Novokalynove, Stepove, Severne, and Pervomayske of the Donetsk region, without success. It carried out shelling of populated areas. These are, in particular, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Severne, Tonenka, Lastochkina, Pervomaiske, Karlivka, and Nevelske of the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, during the past day, our defenders repelled enemy attacks in the area of the Marinka settlement, as well as near Novomykhailivka. Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Heorhiivka, Mariinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, and Paraskoviivka of the Donetsk region came under enemy fire.
The enemy did not carry out offensive operations in the Shakhtarsk direction last day. Fired at Vughedar, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Komar in the Donetsk region.
The enemy is defending in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. At the same time, he carried out shelling of populated areas, which are next to the line of military confrontation. Among them are Novosilka, Novopil of the Donetsk region; Olhivske, Malynivka, Chervone, Huliaypilske, Charivne, Orihiv of the Zaporizhzhia region; Ivanivka, Antonivka of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.
Over the past day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces has struck 9 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers, as well as 3 strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems. In addition, our defenders shot down 10 enemy UAVs of various types.
Over the past day, units of missile troops and artillery hit the enemy's anti-aircraft missile complex and 2 electronic warfare stations.
