In Bakhmut direction, parity was achieved in artillery thanks to accuracy of work of Defense Forces, - Cherevaty
The occupiers still have a mathematical advantage in artillery, but the artillery of the Defence Forces is working as accurately as possible.
This was stated by a representative of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Cherevaty on Ukraine 24, Censor.NET reports citing Liga.News.
"We are, roughly speaking, on an artillery diet... Our artillery and missile specialists are used to this, so they are checking targets with drone data as accurately as possible and trying to hit them. And in fact, they are achieving parity by hitting targets with high quality," Cherevaty said.
He added that artillery is the main player in the Eastern sector. Russian aviation cannot fully deploy because of the air defence of Ukrainian troops and cannot create a significant advantage for the occupiers.
