It will take 10 years to clear right bank of Kherson region, - RMA
About 500,000 hectares of land have been mined in the Kherson region, in particular in the right-bank part of the region.
The spokesman of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Tolokonnikov, told about this on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET informs.
According to him, demining these territories will take about 10 years.
"The right-bank Kherson region itself occupies about 630,000 hectares. 500 of them have been demined. In the last five months, after the liberation, 38,000 hectares were demined. We understand that by the end of the year, it will be approximately 70,000 hectares. That is, we need to demine the right-bank Kherson region it will be about 10 years," Tolokonnikov stressed.
