Ukraine received $132 million from World Bank for the agricultural sector

Ukraine received a loan of 132 million US dollars from the World Bank to finance expenditures in the agricultural sector.
This was reported by the Ministry of Finance, Censor.NET informs.
"The raised funds will continue to support the financial stability of Ukraine and reimburse priority expenses, in particular in the agricultural sector, to improve the situation in the food industry and ensure the food security of Ukraine," commented Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko.
This money came to the state budget as part of the loan agreement under the "Acceleration of Private Investments in Agriculture" program between Ukraine and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD).
The agreement was concluded between Ukraine and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in August 2019. The program is designed for 5 years and is implemented at the expense of the World Bank and the state budget.
