The USA allocates aid packages to Ukraine about once every two weeks, aimed at strengthening its defense capabilities. This pace will continue in the following months.

This was stated by the coordinator of the National Security Council of the White House, John Kirby, Censor.NET reports with reference to Ukrinform.

"As far as the United States is concerned, we will continue to support Ukraine. You've seen defense aid packages come out about once every two weeks - that will continue over the coming weeks and months," Kirby said.

He also confirmed that the issue of further support to Ukraine will be discussed at the summit of G7 leaders in Hiroshima this week. In this regard, he assured that the United States will maintain international leadership in support of the Ukrainian state both within this format and outside it. In addition, according to him, all G7 member countries also remain loyal to Ukraine in its resistance to the aggression of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Kirby said that even in the event of a default, the United States would be able to provide military aid to Ukraine until the end of the fiscal year with funds appropriated by Congress.
