In some areas of the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces are advancing.
Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar reported this on Telegram, Censor.NET reports.
"In the Bakhmut direction now:
- freed in the last few days in the suburbs, almost 20 square km - not lost. Let's move on. We have progress in some areas.
- fierce battles in Bakhmut . The enemy is making some progress," the report said.
According to Maliar, the command and the soldiers are doing everything that can be done in this situation in a military sense.
"They do it professionally and to the best of their ability," she concluded.
