Russia will complain to UN Security Council that Ukraine shoots down its missiles - Kyslytsia

On Thursday, at a UN Security Council meeting convened by Moscow, Russia’s representatives will complain that Ukraine shoots down their missiles, Ukraine’s Permanent Representative to the UN Serhiy Kyslytsia said.
This is how he commented on Russia's submission of Western weapons to the Security Council for discussion, reports Censor.NЕТ with reference to Ukrinform.
"Lavrov's people demanded a UN Security Council meeting to whine about their Wunderwaffles being shot down every night in the sky over Ukraine, whose 'traitorous inventors' are already in jail. Although, judging by the success of the people of Lavrov, they should already be there," Kyslytsia wrote.
At the same time, Deputy Spokesperson for the Secretary General Farhan Haq, when asked by an Ukrinform correspondent to comment on the Kremlin's complaints about Ukraine's ability to defend itself, said: "I'm not going to interfere in the discussions that are taking place in the Security Council. What I will say is that, of course, we oppose the shelling of populated areas, including Kyiv, and we will continue to do so."
The UN Security Council meeting on Russia's request to supply Ukraine with Western weapons begins on Thursday at 15:00 (22:00 Kyiv time).
As reported, three scientists from the Novosibirsk Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics - Institute Director Alexander Shiplyuk, Doctor of Technical Sciences Valery Zvehinetsev, and Chief Researcher Anatoly Maslov, who developed the Kinzhal hypersonic missiles - were arrested for treason in Russia. Maslov and Shiplyuk were arrested in the summer of 2022, and Zvehintsev has been under house arrest since April 7 this year.
