Russian drones are now trying to bypass Ukrainian air defense, - OC "South"

In the south of Ukraine, Russian military drones are trying to bypass the damage zone of the Ukrainian air defense system.
This was reported by the spokeswoman of the OC "South" Natalia Humeniuk on the broadcast of "Svoboda.Ranok" (a Radio Svoboda project), Censor.NET informs.
Ruscists use the occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions to launch drones, thus they try to bypass Ukrainian air defense.
"Despite this, on the border with the Mykolaiv region, our air defense destroyed two drones that night. The rest were handed over to other commands. We can say that in this way, having bypassed our defenses, the enemy is trying to disperse further," Humeniuk said.
She added that the Ukrainian air defense forces, and the OC "South" in particular, are successfully identifying targets. This, in particular, is evidenced by the daily statistics of shooting down drones and missiles.
"Even at the starting moment, when they just appeared in the affected area, we already started working on them. Simply based on the peculiarities of our territorial response zone, we managed to shoot down two," said the spokeswoman of the OC "South".
Also remind, that on the night of May 30, the Russian occupiers launched 31 kamikaze drones over the capital of Ukraine.
