Those who can should provide Ukraine with long-range artillery and weapons systems - von der Leyen

The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, called on "those who can" to provide Ukraine with long-range weapons.
According to Censor.NET, citing Euro Integration, she said this during a speech on Wednesday at the Globsec forum in Bratislava.
In her speech, von der Leyen stressed the need to stand firmly on the side of Ukrainians "for as long as necessary".
"The immediate need and you know this, is military assistance to support the efforts of the Ukrainian armed forces. That is why we have just proposed the Ammunition Production Act," she said.
"Those who can provide Ukraine with long-range artillery and weapons systems. This could help Ukraine close the gap on the battlefield in terms of range to the invading forces," von der Leyen added.
