Valery Shershen, the spokesman for the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tauria Region, told about this on the air of the telethon "Yedini Novyny", Censor.NET informs with reference to Ukrinform.
"In the Tauria direction, our troops and shock units continue to conduct offensive operations in the designated directions. There is progress, we are entrenched, and demining, the successes are tangible, but we will not talk about the results yet. Accordingly, the nature of the actions of the Russian occupation troops here has not changed, they are focused on , in order to prevent our further advance. Over the past day, the enemy's losses in personnel have been significant: 104 irreversible, 202 sanitary, and two prisoners. 34 units of weapons and military equipment have been destroyed," the spokesman said.
According to his information, units of missile troops and artillery of the Tauria direction performed more than 1,230 fire missions during the day.
The enemy unsuccessfully tried to conduct offensive operations in the area of Avdiivka and Mariinka, and was repulsed.
At the same time, the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Mariinka, and Heorhiivka were shelled by enemy artillery. Also, the occupiers conducted an unsuccessful offensive in the direction of Vuledar and Zolota Nyva.
Near Krasnohorivka, the assault units of the Defense Forces, as a result of a well-planned counterattack, captured several positions held by the enemy since 2014.
Regarding the Zaporizhzhia region, the spokesman said that the enemy is concentrating on defense, concentrating the main efforts on preventing the offensive of the Defense Forces. The Russian occupiers tried to regain lost positions near Makarivka, and carried out airstrikes on Novodanilivtsi, Orikhova, Stepnohirsk.
At the same time, Shershen noted that the transfer of the enemy from the Kherson region to Zaporizhzhia is no longer observed.
"The enemy has already moved everything he could from the left-bank Kherson region, having made some strengthening of his positions, using rotation. Now we are not observing active movement from the flooded areas," the spokesman said.
