Real war is different from what’s on paper, - Milley on AFU counteroffensive

The slow pace of the Ukrainian army’s counteroffensive does not surprise the US military, because real war is different from what it looks like on paper.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, this is stated by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, quoted by Voice of America journalist Jeff Seldin.
"A war on paper and a real war are different things," Milley said.
According to him, the fact that it is happening more slowly than other people predicted does not surprise him at all. He emphasized that there is a slow and gradual advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Ukraine is fighting for its life, of course it is a little slow, but that is part of the nature of war," the General added.
