Zaporizhzhia NPP is mined, there are militants there. This is fact, - Zelensky

The situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP is very difficult - it is mined and militants are there.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with Spanish media, Censor.NET reports.
"The Zaporizhia nuclear plant is mined, that is a fact. The IAEA confirms that the Zaporizhzhia plant is mined, they just say that the reactor is not mined. This was the last information they had. But this is confirmation that the plant is mined. There is an exact confirmation from our intelligence that there there are landmines. And there is accurate information that there are about 500 militants there," Zelensky emphasized.
He noted that the IAEA cannot name the exact number of militants on the territory of the ZNPP.
According to the president, the dangerous situation at the station is also evidenced by the information about the plans of the Russian Federation to "make an emission". "And this is very important. This is done so that ... the conflict is frozen so that we under-occupy our territory," Zelensky said.
According to Zelensky, the aggressors need the emission at the Zaporizhzhia NPP in order to show: these are the consequences of war. "They understand that we don't shoot at the station, so they can't just artificially make a release. They are looking for a format and a moment. That's why it's very dangerous. We're talking about it out loud again, just like we talked about blowing up the Kakhovsky reservoir dam another year therefore," the head of state emphasized.
