"While clearing the rubble in Lviv, rescuers found another body. It is a woman. Our condolences to the family and friends of the victim. We have already dismantled 70% of the destruction. Services will work throughout the night," the statement reads.
Earlier, he said that search and rescue operations and the dismantling of the rubble of residential buildings are underway.
"We have removed 170 cubic meters of rubble. The work involves 668 people and 139 pieces of equipment, including rescuers, doctors, police, representatives of public utilities and volunteers. Rescuers rescued 7 people. 64 people were evacuated from the scene. 14 people were hospitalized.
Nine tents were set up to provide accommodation, food and psychological assistance. 40 people have been temporarily relocated to a modular town, a hotel and a children's center for sports, tourism and excursions.
