The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions - more than 30 combat clashes took place during the day.
This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vovkivka, Sumy region; Mylove and Veterynarne, Kharkiv region. It carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 30 settlements, including Karpovychi, Hremiach of the Chernihiv region; Myropillia, Znob-Novhorodske, Bilopillia of the Sumy region and Hraniv, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Varvarivka, Tsehelne in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the districts of Kyslivka, Kharkiv region, and Novoiehorivka, Luhansk region. It tried to advance in the districts of Berestove, Novoselivske, and Stelmakhivka of the Luhansk region. Our soldiers are firmly on the defensive, repelling all enemy attacks. Fiholivka, Dvorichna, Kupiansk, Kislivka, and Kamianka of the Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy artillery and mortar attacks.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted assaults during the day and tried to dislodge our troops from their occupied positions in the Vesely area of the Donetsk region, without success. Airstrikes in Novolyubivka, Nevsky, Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Dibrova, Spirne, and Ivanivka, Donetsk region. More than 15 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Verkhnokamianske, Rozdolivka, and Vesele in the Donetsk region, were hit by artillery fire.
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Ivanovske, Druzhkivka, Bila Hora, and Druzhba. More than 15 settlements were affected by enemy artillery shelling, among them Markove, Bohdanivka, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske of the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the districts of Novokalynove, Stepove, Pervomayske, and Nevelske of the Donetsk region. Carried out airstrikes near Avdiivka and Severne. At the same time, the enemy fired artillery at more than 15 settlements, including Keramik, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Semenivka of the Donetsk region.
In the Mariinka direction, under enemy artillery fire, our defenders repelled all attacks in the area of the city of Mariшnka. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka districts of the Donetsk region. It shelled the settlements of Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Elizavetivka, Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropil, Mariiinka, Pobeda, and Katerynivka in the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarske direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Blahodatny district of the Donetsk region. It carried out airstrikes near Blahodatny and Rivnopol, Donetsk region. He shelled more than 15 settlements, including Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechistivka, Zolota Nyva, and Shakhtarske in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. It carried out airstrikes in the areas of Kozatske, Kherson region, and Orikhov, Zaporizhzhia region. It carried out artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Malynivka, Huliaypole of the Zaporizhzhia region; Havrylivka, Antonivka, Zolota Balka of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson; Ivanivka, Ochakiv, Mykolaiv region. At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.
