NATO allies still haven’t agreed on how to respond to Ukraine, - Politico

Before the NATO summit, the Alliance leaders still have not agreed on the wording of the summit communiqué on Ukraine and its Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
This was reported by Politico, Censor.NET informs with reference to European Pravda.
After long and intense negotiations on the summit communiqué, there is still no agreed wording on Ukraine. However, one NATO diplomat told reporters that "a lot of progress has been made and he is 100% optimistic" and that an agreement is "very close".
Officials negotiating on this issue will meet again on Tuesday, in parallel with the summit. As far as we know, Germany and the United States are opposed to more decisive wording.
One German official anonymously commented to reporters on Monday that "it is not yet time for an invitation to NATO and concrete steps towards membership" and that there is no consensus among the allies.
