Commander of the Ground Forces Oleksandr Syrsky emphasized the importance of the deoccupation of Bakhmut.
He stated this in an interview with the BBC, Censor.NET reports.
The publication notes that the liberation of Bakhmut is "a matter of honor" for the general.
"We lost many of our brothers, our servicemen, when we were defending Bakhmut... so we just have to get it back," Syrsky said.
