Russian invaders attacked the territory of Ukraine in several waves. Critical infrastructure facilities came under enemy attack, with the main focus of the attack in the Odesa region.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
During several waves of attacks, the enemy used 16 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles, which were probably launched from the Ingushetia small missile ship and the Admiral Essen frigate from the Black Sea. The enemy fired 8 Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 long-range aircraft from the Black Sea.
Six Onyx cruise missiles and one Kh-59 guided missile were fired from the territory of occupied Crimea from the coastal missile system "Bastion" from the Black Sea from a Su-35 fighter jet.
A total of 32 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs were launched from the Chauda training ground (Crimea) and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Krasnodar Territory).
"As a result of combat operations, the air defense of the Air Force and other components of the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed 37 air targets:
- 13 Kalibr cruise missiles;
- 1 Kh-59 guided missile;
- 23 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.
The Kh-22 and Oniks missiles were aimed at the infrastructure of the Odesa region. The consequences of these strikes and the victims will be reported to local military administrations," the Air Force said.
Over the current and previous days, Air Force aviation carried out more than 20 air strikes on the objects, places of concentration of equipment, and personnel of the Russian occupiers.
