Armed Forces of Ukraine restrain enemy in four directions and continue offensive in Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, - General Staff
The enemy concentrates its main efforts in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions, during the past day, about 30 combat clashes took place.
This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Censor.NET informs.
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the enemy carried out an airstrike in the area of the village of Hremiachka, Chernihiv region. It carried out mortar and artillery shelling of more than 20 settlements, in particular, Hirsk, Yeline, Leonivka of the Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Bachivsk, Myropyllia, Pokrovka of the Sumy region and Uda, Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha, and Budarky in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, our soldiers are firmly holding the defense. The enemy launched an air strike in the Kyslivka area. Dvorichna, Zapadne, Sinkivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling by the occupiers.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Nevske, Novoliubivka, Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region, and Yampol, Serebrianka, and Spirne of the Donetsk region. The settlements of Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhnyokamianske, Berestove, and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.
In the direction of Bakhmut, our defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the Bohdanivka area. The enemy launched an air strike near Diliivka. More than 10 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Markove, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochky, and Oleksandro-Shultine of the Donetsk region, were affected by enemy artillery shelling.
In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy fire from the enemy's aircraft and artillery, our defenders successfully repelled the attacks of Russian troops in the Nevelske area. The enemy launched missile and air strikes in the area of the city of Avdiivka. At the same time, artillery bombarded more than 10 settlements, in particular, Lastochkina, Avdiivka, Karlivka, and Nevelske of the Donetsk region were affected.
In the Mariinka direction, despite enemy airstrikes and artillery fire, the Defense Forces continue to restrain the advance of Russian troops in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka. The enemy shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Mariinka, Heorhiivka, and Pobeda of the Donetsk region.
In the Shakhtarske direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the Novomykhailivka and Blahodatny areas of the Donetsk region. It shelled more than 10 settlements, including Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region.
In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. It made unsuccessful attempts to restore its lost position in the area north of Pryiutne, Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 settlements, including Novodarivka, Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Bilohirya, Lobkove of the Zaporizhia region, were hit by artillery fire; Dudchany, Kozatske, Lvove, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Berehove, Kizomys of the Kherson region and the city of Kherson.
At the same time, the Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, are entrenched at the reached boundaries, and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.
