"Ukraine has already made incredible progress in regaining the territories that were temporarily occupied by Russia," he said.
The State Department official noted that from the US perspective, Ukraine has everything it needs to launch a counteroffensive.
"We have provided them with a huge amount of military equipment, as have our allies and partners in Europe and around the world, and we will continue to do so. You can expect an announcement of military assistance in the coming days," Miller added.
