Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff released information about Russian occupants’ attacks on territory of Ukraine on August 02, 2023.
As informs Censor.NЕТ, it was reported in Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff official Facebook.
The statement reads: "During the day, the Russian Federation conducted another air strike with Iranian Shahed strike UAVs in Ukraine. The forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed 23 attack UAVs.
The enemy launched 5 missile and 86 air strikes and fired 36 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there were civilian casualties.
The likelihood of further missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains very high!"
