Attack on Russian tanker "SIG" - special operation of SSU and Navy, - source

танкер

Last night, the SSU blew up a large Russian oil tanker "SIG" transporting fuel for Russian troops

This was reported by sources in the SSU, Censor.NET reports.

According to our sources in the SSU, the special operation followed a classic scenario: a surface drone, 450 kg of TNT, and an explosion. As a result, one of the most powerful oil tankers in Russia (built in 2014, almost 5,000 tonnes) began a "negative voyage" near the Crimean Bridge. The tanker was heavily loaded with fuel, so the "fireworks" could be seen from afar.

"The SSU conducted another successful special operation jointly with the Navy. Interestingly, it took place in the territorial waters of Ukraine. As they say, 'no f**king around'," the source said.

Earlier it was reported that an explosion occurred late in the evening on 4 August near the Kerch Bridge. Traffic across the bridge was blocked, and social media reported that a tanker had been hit. Later, it turned out that the Russian tanker Sig was hit after a Ukrainian drone attack near the Kerch Strait.

To recap, on the night of 4 August, explosions were heard in Novorossiysk. The Russian Ministry of Defence said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces allegedly tried to attack the naval base. Later, it became known that surface drones had hit the Russian landing ship Olenegorskiy Gornyak in the bay of Novorossiysk. It was also noted that this was a joint operation between the SSU and the Navy. A week earlier, on 29 July, CNN aired a story about Ukrainian aquadrones.
